About Volley Random

Volley Random takes the one-button ragdoll formula to the volleyball court. Your player launches into a full-body flail every time you press your key, and whether the ball sails over the net or straight into it depends on timing you will spend the whole session refining. Like the rest of the Random series, the court rerolls between points — different nets, balls, gravity and player shapes keep every rally unpredictable.

Volleyball turns out to be the perfect sport for this formula, because the ball spends so long in the air. Rallies build real tension: three or four successful returns in a row and both players are leaning into the screen, waiting for the ragdoll physics to betray someone. First to 5 points takes the match.

Player 1 plays with W, Player 2 with the Up Arrow — one key each, so the keyboard never gets crowded. There is a CPU mode for warming up, but the game is clearly built for two people and one desk.

Tips to win

  • Hit the ball on your way up, not at the top of your jump — it clears the net more often.
  • Standing directly under the ball is a trap; take half a step of patience before jumping.
  • Watch the ball type each round — heavy balls need earlier jumps, balloons need later ones.
