About Zombie Mission 2

Zombie Mission 2 takes everything from the first game and turns the dial up: bigger levels, nastier zombie placements, and rescue-and-recover objectives that demand tighter teamwork. You are still saving hostages and critical data, but the routes split more aggressively now — expect whole sections where one player wall-walks the ceiling route while the other fights through the corridor below, meeting at doors that only open for two.

The sequel's weapons feel meatier and the puzzle layer is smarter about forcing role swaps: the player who carried the last level will be the one screaming for backup in the next. Checkpoints keep failure cheap, which keeps the campaign fun instead of frustrating for mixed-skill pairs.

Controls stay familiar: Player 1 on WASD with F to attack and Q to switch weapons; Player 2 on the arrow keys with L to attack, K for grenades and U to switch weapons. Finish this one and the series keeps going — RHM has made it a co-op saga.

Tips to win

  • Assign the ceiling route before the level starts — mid-level route arguments feed zombies.
  • New weapons drop mid-level; the player with the worse gun takes the next pickup, no debates.
  • On escort sections, one player walks backward covering the rear. Always.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to play Zombie Mission 1 first?

No — the sequel stands alone. But the first game is a gentler introduction to the co-op mechanics if you are new to the series.

What changed from the first game?

Bigger levels, more aggressive enemy placement, extra weapons, and objectives that split the two players harder before forcing them back together.
